Reflections from Albania

Preview

We have had an incredible trip to Albania this month.

The main reason for choosing to come here to Tirana was to see the start of the cycling tour ‘Giro d’italia’ . My husband Steve is a mad keen cyclist ( read that how you will). I enjoy the buzz of the event, but for me following these tours is a way to see parts of the world I may otherwise not have visited.

Prior to arriving, I confess I had very little knowledge of this country or its history. We’ve had some great conversations with local people, as well as visits to the museums and installations that tell the story of Albania.

When I’m home, I’ll gather my thoughts and write a few notebook entries about the insights I’ve had and how they might impact my work.

I think topics will include

  • Community

  • Cultural awareness

  • Beliefs

  • Trust

  • Analogue v digital

  • Perceptions

in the meantime, have a fabulous week. I look forward to seeing a few of you on Friday for our mini retreat

Best wishes

Sally 😊
