Coming to a retreat is for some a regular thing - I have many ‘returners’ to my Devon Wellness retreats, which of course I love!

So why do women add my retreats to their wellness calendar?

  • A retreat is different from a holiday. When you choose a retreat, you are setting an intention of increasing your wellness in some way. Women often commit that they feel as though they have been away for a month, after a 3 or 4 day retreat!

  • My Devon Wellness Retreats are safe, comfortable spaces. Whatever you have going on in your life, you can bring it to a retreat. You’ll find space for yourself, and also incredible opportunities for support from others.

  • Like-minded people. Connections created at my retreats here on Dartmoor in Devon often turn into genuine and lasting friendships. You’ll find women with similar experiences and challenges, and also fabulous conversations to increase your feelings of resilience and coping.

  • It’s an opportunity to learn. I weave my coaching through the retreat, in response to the conversations and questions that arise as we gather and begin to relax together. Often I will teach my Self Hypnosis course.

  • Experience something new. Changing the way we do things has a powerful effect on our minds and bodies. A wellness retreat with me is a perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone. Here, everyone is celebrated!

  • Regular, deep rest is key to physical and mental wellness. You may have a busy and stressful life, or be carrying burdens of sadness, loss or trauma. A Devon Wellness retreat allows you to let go, put down those burdens and deeply rest. The restorative effect is powerful!

FAQs

  • Yes! We cater to a variety of dietary needs. Please let us know of any allergies or preferences when booking, and our chef will ensure your meals are tailored accordingly.

  • Yes, we offer private ensuite rooms as standard. Twin and sometimes triple rooms may also be available. We haven or two private rooms with shared bathrooms at some retreats, which are great value.
    All our rooms are of the highest standard, with hotel quality beds and linen, and Neals Yard toiletries in the bathrooms.

  • We like to keep the retreat itinerary flexible to work around the individual needs within the group.

  • This is a retreat -a purposeful pause. We’ll move gently, reflect deeply, rest fully. It’s not a party or sightseeing tour.


  • Absolutely. Sessions are gentle, inclusive and designed for all levels. You’ll be held in a safe, nourishing environment.


  • We keep it small and manageable so you receive meaningful connection and support. Most retreats are capped at 12 participants, sometimes fewer.
