You’ll stay at the award-winning Cottages at Blackadon Farm, a peaceful retreat centre nestled on the edge of Dartmoor. The tranquil surroundings offer the perfect escape from the pressures of everyday life.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Dartmoor and the South Hams, with guided walks that allow you to connect with nature and find stillness in the healing landscape. We will tailor the walks we do to suit everyone in the group. We will aim to cater to everyone’s abilities.

CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
We offer a variety of gentle, therapeutic workshops inspired by nature. These activities are designed to encourage self-expression and bring a sense of calm and clarity.
masterclass with MARG BELL- BITE INTO BALANCE
A 90-minute workshop where participants will learn to create delicious, nutrient-dense energy bites packed with ingredients that support gut and hormonal balance.
hypnotherapy & relaxation
Sally will guide you through self-hypnosis techniques and relaxation practices that help reduce stress and restore balance. These sessions are designed to help you let go of tension and reconnect with yourself.
NUTRITIOUS MEALS
Enjoy healthy, seasonal meals prepared with love by Sandy from Dartmoor Larder with a menu designed in collaboration with Margaret. Every dish is locally sourced, and created to nourish both body and mind.

Meet Margaret Bell
‘the wonder woman’ of hormonal health
Margaret Bell is a leading expert in women’s hormonal health, specialising in cycle tracking, food freedom, stress reduction, and gut health to boost confidence and energy. Known for her anti-diet philosophy, Margaret has helped countless women transform their relationship with food, guiding them towards intuitive eating and overall wellbeing. As the author of True Taste, she shares her expertise in gut and hormonal health, making her a trusted voice in the wellness field.
Recently, Margaret served as chef to the stars at Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Festival, creating a bespoke vegetarian and vegan menu that wowed guests with its beauty and flavour. Through her masterclasses, cooking retreats, and published work, Margaret continues to inspire women to reconnect with their health and embrace nourishing, balanced living.
A word from Sally about this January retreat
Essentially, all my retreats centre around creating wellness for women through connection to the natural world and our own self awareness. They are held in Devon, on the Southern tip of Dartmoor, in luxury ensuite accommodation. We have lovely large communal spaces. Activities include walking, a sound journey, guided deep relaxation. I developed my retreats alongside my friend and wonderful chef, Sandy, who produces all our meals throughout the retreat, with love and so much amazing flavour!
Our guests value the warm welcome and safe space that Sandy and I create. A place and time to let go of limits and create the confident future you want.
The January 2025 retreat will be a fantastic opportunity for guests to learn from two experts. Both Margaret Bell and I recognise the importance of getting the fundamentals right in order to create a life of wellness and joy. The Cottages at Blackadon Farm, Dartmoor
From £831 per person (based on shared accommodation). Private rooms are available at an additional cost. Prices include accommodation, meals, workshops, nature walks, and all retreat activities.

Pay in full OR Secure your place with a £250 deposit. Full payment is due by 1st January 2024. A payment plan is available.

Full payment secures your place for a single occupancy room on one retreat per year. The full value of monthly payments can be used towards any retreat. Sharing options are also available, and your monthly subscription can be used towards any room type.
We have space for only 10 participants, ensuring an intimate and supportive environment. Early booking is highly recommended.

There is one fully accessible room available for private, double or twin occupancy. Please contact me to book this room.
Prices are inclusive of 4 nights accommodation, all food, drink and group activities and workshops. There’s a lovely goody bag too!
One to one sessions with me (Sally), and reflexology with Lisa are available as an add-on at the time of booking, with an extra charge.
